Legitimate Work At Home Jobs

After Ethan was born I started looking for work at home jobs. I wanted to make some money in our "spare" time. You know, when my husband was home, and he could take care of the baby? I know as a parent, there isn't really any spare time. Anyway...

I got lucky in my search and only went through a few scams. I payed for "envelope stuffing" and "data entry" jobs that turned out to be scams because you paid for the training material that was just an email, telling you to now go and paste the same ad that scammed you all over the Net. Needless to say, I was scammed for work at home jobs.

After that though, I found real work at home. It all started with a website called WAHM.com (http://wahm.com).  They had information on how to find real work at home jobs, and I used their information to look for at home agents on Google (my favorite search engine). What I found was Workathomeagent, now http://www.westathome.com/

I signed up immediately, because it seemed like a real site and my rules were this:

Apply till I get the job, or they ask for money or my ssn, if they ask for either before I get a job, I'm done.

I soon got contact back from Workathomeagent and started working with a company called West. It was customer support via the telephone and I got to work for a bunch of different companies through them. You didn't have to pay for working with them at all, and I was bringing in a pay check. I stayed on the Wahm.com forum and have been there on and off ever since.

Just recently I started visiting another forum, called www.workplacelikehome.com there are a lot of places that hire people to work from home for customer service, and they have a section for Non Phone work too. I am actually going to start working with Arise.com but under my own corporation. I can't reveal what I will be doing or anything like that on here, but if you want good work at home, check them out.

I just want to let people know you can work from home, usually through your own independant contracting, but you can make a pay check by working from home. I have done it with a couple other companies too. AcdDirect.com is one of them. You are going to be surprised to see the companies that hire work at home customer service but go look at the forums and find out.
